metadata.of.studio is operated by ofstudio photography. By creating an account
you agree to the terms below. The tool is provided as-is for the purpose of
capturing and sharing artwork metadata; there is no fee and no warranty.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address and a password (hashed, never stored in plain text). Used to sign you in.
- Artwork metadata — anything you type into the form: artist, title, medium, year, dimensions, inventory number, notes, etc.
- Photos — any images you attach. These are compressed in your browser (≤ 1000 px / ≤ 100 KB) before upload.
- Submission timestamp — attached to each batch.
Submissions stay within ofstudio photography. Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond running this submission tool.
Your photos & artwork data stay yours
You keep ownership of your photos and the artwork information you submit. By submitting, you grant ofstudio photography a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and reference them for studio workflow purposes — managing inventory, sharing with collaborators on the same submission, generating PDF/CSV exports. This license ends when you delete the records or your account.
Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account. Keep your password to yourself, don't share your login, and email us at yubo@of.studio if you suspect unauthorized access. We may temporarily suspend an account whose credentials appear to be compromised while we investigate.
What you can submit
Submit only artwork-related content that you have the right to share. Don't upload material you don't own the rights to, photos of people without their consent, or anything illegal.
While you're filling out the form
Your progress auto-saves to this browser only — it never leaves your computer until you click Download PDF, Export for Artlogic, or Save & share. Click Start over at any time to wipe it.
The optional Save & share feature stores your in-progress draft on our server so a collaborator can finish it via a shared link. Drafts expire automatically after 30 days.
Fair use
This is a free tool for a small community. ofstudio photography reserves the right to suspend or revoke any account that's used to spam, upload material unrelated to artwork metadata, or attempt to access data that isn't yours. We'll email you first unless the abuse is severe or ongoing.
Service availability
This tool is provided as-is. There's no guaranteed uptime, and features may change or be removed at any time. ofstudio photography isn't responsible for lost work, missed deadlines, or temporary data unavailability — keep your own copies of anything time-sensitive.
Emails we send
Creating an account opts you in to transactional emails only — sign-in confirmation, password resets, submission summaries, and notifications about your shared drafts. We don't send marketing emails.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be emailed to your account address. Continuing to use the tool after a change means you accept the new version.
Deleting your account or data
Email yubo@of.studio to delete your account, remove any submitted artworks, or get a copy of what's on file for you. We'll handle it within a few days.
